1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to use the Service. Professional profiles must reflect accurate identity, rank, and credentials. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false credentials, forged certificates, or misleading vessel or sea-service records.
- Harass, discriminate against, or endanger other members.
- Scrape, resell, or misuse member data or job postings.
- Circumvent verification, subscription, or payment mechanisms.
3. Job postings & hiring
Employers and recruiters are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of postings, and for compliance with MLC 2006 and the labor laws of relevant flag and port states. Marivium is a platform and is not a party to any employment relationship.
4. Content ownership
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Marivium a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other members, or expose Marivium to legal risk. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marivium disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
